CFO Job of the Week – Real Estate CFO – Houston, Texas
Position: Chief Financial Officer | Location: Houston, Texas | Compensation: $280,000 – $380,000 base + bonus + equity
CFO Search has been retained to identify a CFO for a rapidly growing real estate investment and property management firm headquartered in Houston. The company manages over $2B in assets across commercial and residential portfolios and is preparing for a significant capital raise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and investor reporting
- Manage relationships with lenders, equity partners, and institutional investors
- Oversee financial due diligence on new acquisitions
- Partner with CEO on capital raise strategy — $500M target
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of finance experience with at least 5 years as CFO or VP Finance
- Deep real estate industry experience — REIT, private equity real estate, or property management
- CPA preferred, MBA a plus
